Engineering Lead - Full-time | Remote

About Us

Santa Tech is a funded, fully remote software venture builder. 

We're building Myron, a cutting-edge FinTech platform offering secure and efficient asset based financing using blockchain technology, and Wisebid, an AI-powered tender management platform already serving customers in Germany.

As Engineering Lead, you will be the technical right hand to the CTO and take day-to-day responsibility for our engineering team. You'll own technical execution across both products, driving architecture decisions, refining the codebase, managing issues and pull requests, mentoring engineers, and coding yourself. 

This is a 50/50 role: half hands-on coding, half technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own architecture and system design decisions across both products

• Contribute as a hands-on engineer (approx. 50% coding)

• Collaborate closely with the CTO on technical strategy and product roadmap

• Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of learning and ownership

• Write clear, actionable issues and maintain alignment between business and technical priorities

• Lead daily standups and oversee sprint planning and task distribution

• Create and enforce coding guidelines and quality standards

Your Profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, NestJS, and React 

• Experience designing and evolving software architecture 

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach

• Strong technical foundation backed by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Interest in blockchain technology

• Intrinsic motivation for continual learning and staying current with emerging technologies

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
